INCI: DICAPRYLYL ETHER

CETIOL® OE from BASF is a flexible, fast-spreading, dry, waxy emollient for skin and hair applications. It is an alternative to silicones, easily biodegradable and 100% renewable. It offers good make-up removal efficiency and improves the stability of fine emulsions. It offers a dry skin feel and low water solubility. It is stable to hydrolysis thanks to its ether structure. Its low polarity makes it suitable for rinse-off renewable microemulsions. CETIOL® OE is used in antiperspirants and deodorants, baby care and cleansing, facial cleansing, body, face and color care. It is also used in shampoos, hair colorants, sunscreens, after-sun products and self-tanners.
